10. Basic Fire Energy (Hyper Rare)
A basic Energy card fetching a high price on this list is no mere coincidence. Obsidian Flames led to the popularity of Charizard ex decks, which dominates the current meta by amassing a plethora of Fire Energy cards from the deck.
With the Obsidian Flames being a fan-favorite expansion and the rise of Charizard ex decks, Hyper Rare variants of Basic Fire Energy cards became in high demand, significantly reducing their supply.
9. Charizard ex (Double Rare)
Yes, we just talked recently about Charizard ex decks, and it’s no surprise that a number of Charizard cards will make this list.
