Collect all the Prismatic Evolutions chase cards in case you’re lucky enough to get your hands on some products of the set!
Pokemon TCG: Prismatic Evolutions is one of, if not the most, controversial sets in the entire franchise. This set is known for having many cases of scalping that negatively affected the supply of its products, as well as the value of its cards.
What’s with the hype surrounding Prismatic Evolutions, you ask? Well, it’s definitely because of the low pull rates of SIR Eeveelution cards, which are cards featuring every evolved form of Eevee, the beloved Normal-type Pokemon from Gen 1.
Even now, it’s still not easy to find stores selling Prismatic Evolution cards, and if you find one, you better buy it right away, as they won’t be available on those shelves for long.
And once you get some Prismatic Evolution packs, try crossing your fingers and wish that you pull any of the set’s following chase cards.

10. Ceruledge ex (Special Illustration Rare)

Narrowly winning against SIR Eevee ex in terms of value, Ceruledge ex is one of the two non-Eeveelution cards that made the list for this set, and it’s not surprising considering its cool artwork.
Ceruledge is also arguably one of the most well-designed Gen 9 Pokemon, and this Fire Blades creature can pack quite the punch with its Raging Amethyst move.
9. Roaring Moon ex (Special Illustration Rare)

This Paradox version of Salamence also joined the Prismatic Evolution train with this Special Illustration Rare that rivals the artwork of Roaring Moon ex from Paradox Rift.
Having the same moves as Paradox Rift’s Roaring Moon ex, this card is considered a great pull, especially if you failed to get any of the highly sought-after SIR Eeveelutions in Prismatic Evolutions.
8. Flareon ex (Special Illustration Rare)

Now, keep in mind that the following ranking isn’t about which Eeveelution is the best, but rather how much these Eeveelution cards are in the market nowadays, and it looks like Flareon ex takes the end of the rope.
As you see with the other Eeveelution cards in this list, Flareon is featured as a Stellar-type Pokemon, which made them extra flashy and more eye-catching. The ring surrounding Flareon ex is somehow similar to the One Ring in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
7. Jolteon ex (Special Illustration Rare)

A few days after the release of Prismatic Evolutions, SIR Jolteon ex seemed like the most overlooked card, as it didn’t even make the set’s top 10 most expensive cards at that time.
However, over time, collectors began to appreciate the appeal of collecting all the Eeveelutions, which significantly boosted this card’s value. Still, its relatively underwhelming artwork might be the one factor holding it back.
6. Glaceon ex (Special Illustration Rare)

Eevee’s Ice-type evolution, Glaceon, looks really quite prismatic and elegant in this SIR card that accurately highlights its power in its Stellar form.
Like Roaring Moon ex, Glaceon ex has a one-hit KO move, although with a complicated caveat: to deal the KO, the opposing Pokemon must have exactly 6 damage counters on it.
5. Vaporeon ex (Special Illustration Rare)

With all the disturbing memes aside, The Pokemon Company did some justice to this Pokemon by giving it dope artwork in the Prismatic Evolutions set.
According to its Pokedex entry, Vaporeon’s cell composition is similar to water molecules, but its texture certainly changes once it becomes a Stellar-type, as shown on this card.
4. Espeon ex (Special Illustration Rare)

Another classy artwork from the Eeveelutions family, this SIR card almost made the top 3 for the best Prismatic Evolutions chase cards, and for obvious reasons at that.
Apart from its gorgeous design, Espeon ex is also a good addition for some meta decks due to its devolution mechanics.
3. Leafeon ex (Special Illustration Rare)

Grass-type fans will surely keep an eye out for this Leafeon ex card depicting the Verdant Pokemon in its natural habitat. Everything in this card is just beautifully drawn, so it’s a job well done to its illustrator, Jiro Sasumo.
Just so you know, Jiro Sasumo is also behind other aesthetically pleasing cards from other sets, like the SIR Ralts, Kirlia, and Gardevoir ex of the Scarlet and Violet base set.
2. Sylveon ex (Special Illustration Rare)

On to the top two chase cards in Prismatic Evolutions, we have Sylveon ex, showing the real beauty and power of Fairy-type Pokemon.
Sylveon ex offers a better set of moves than Espeon, since it can work like a tank that reduces the damage of opposing Pokemon or disrupt the strategy of your opponent by forcing them to return two of their Pokemon cards to their deck.
1. Umbreon ex (Special Illustration Rare)

Umbreon ex is currently the undisputed top Prismatic Evolutions chase card, with its value reaching more than a thousand dollars.
This Pokemon has long been a fan favorite, even among the entire franchise. It seems to have followed in the footsteps of Evolving Skies’ Moonbreon, and rightfully so, considering its godlike artwork.
Final Thoughts
Knowing all the Prismatic Evolutions chase cards will help you determine if the packs you get are worth their prices.
Pulling just one of the cards above is a big stroke of luck, so don’t forget to protect your expensive card with sleeves so you can keep its high value.
As expected, all Eeveelution cards made this list, except, of course, the SIR Eevee ex. Other expensive cards also fell into the top 10, such as the Master Ball parallel cards of all Eeveelutions.
